His wife and six children were present to support him during this special occasion. Bode Miller recently shared his thoughts about his induction into the US Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame. He expressed that he was finding it hard to put into words how he was feeling, but he kept coming back to feelings of honor and gratitude. Bode also shared pictures and videos from the ceremony, including moments with his wife and children. One of the pictures showed Bode with six of his children, including his youngest daughter.
Bode expressed that being inducted into the Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame was a great honor for him. He felt humbled to be included among some of the greatest names in the sport who he has admired throughout his life. He was grateful to be recognized by an organization that he deeply respects. At the same time, he was thankful for all the people who supported him throughout his career, including his parents, grandparents, siblings, and his wife. He acknowledged that his success would not have been possible without their help.
Bode also expressed gratitude towards the people in his community who believed in him and supported him before he achieved success. He acknowledged the coaches, sponsors, teammates, mentors, and friends who stood by him through both good and bad times. Bode recognized that he owes his accomplishments to the support of these people and would not have made it to where he is today without them.
Bode has children from previous relationships – a son named Samuel with his ex-partner Sarah McKenna, and a daughter named Neesyn with his ex-partner Chanel Johnson. Bode and his wife Morgan, who is 35 years old, have five children together – Scarlett Olivia, Asher, Askel, Nash, and Easton. Unfortunately, in June 2018, their 19-month-old daughter Emmy passed away after drowning in an accident.
Bode shared that when their daughter Emmy passed away, his wife Morgan was heavily pregnant with their son Easton. The birth of their son provided them with a welcome distraction from their grief. However, Morgan struggled to take care of herself during this time, which was challenging given the traumatic nature of the experience. Bode explained that people often go into a state of shock after a traumatic event, which can make it difficult to manage everyday things like eating.
